The plot itself has potential, but horrible writing. The characters were cringy and annoying. We hardly learn anything about them until the very end and honestly i couldn't care less by then. The dialogue between the two characters is hard to get through without cringing and the fact he dated his sister in law really did it for me.
Also, Benton is the worst name ever.

I loved the premise of the book - only reading snapshots of the main characters’ lives; secrets and the past only unravelling when they choose to share them with the reader or each other. I loved witnessing Fallon learn to love herself, through Ben’s unwavering amazement of her. Two people learning to forgive each other and themselves, despite their pasts, and love each other, without letting their goals become excuses to keep them apart.

It took me so long to get into this book, this is my 6th book by Colleen Hoover and by far the longest for me to finish. But by the time I reached halfway, I couldn't put it down. The last half of the book is phenomenal! Just wish the beginning had a little more substance to intrigue me, but I'm so thrilled I forced myself to finish it! "It gets better" is an understatement!

This was my introduction into the Coho world. The book is beautiful. There are some difficult topics discussed with a lot of love. This book holds a special place in my heart. Overall, would recommend it over and over again.
