Colleen Hoover needs a content warning on every book I've read of hers and this one is no exception.  It wasn't as emotionally disturbing as some of her other books and it really did have a good story line. Big twist at the end. But this will probably be my last book of hers. I don't much care for her writing style or her need to write about such emotionally disturbed characters. I find myself waiting fir that ax to fall and it has taken away from the story for me.

This book had me on a roller coaster of emotions and I will need some time to recover. WOW! First CoHo book I’ve ever read and it hath absolutely shook me. You will feel so many things reading this and the highs and lows will be absolutely devastating. TW for suicide. It does happen off page but the discovery of the deceased happens ON PAGE. Know this going in. This one…is going to stick with me for a long long while. Officially a CoHo fan!

This is one of the worst books I have ever read. The writing felt like a bad wattpad story. There was almost no showing; it was all telling. I don’t even know how I was supposed to root for that relationship. Ben was toxic and horrible and Fallon was boring and whiney. There was no chemistry between them! It also just felt like we were trying to check off different types of trauma to put in a book.
