This book was WILD. It was an interesting read and not in a good way. Like no hate, but major hate. WHAT?! Okay, first of all. Problem A: why does the love interest (I forgot his name lmao) come over and sit next to her?! Like I know it was because of the burns. But still. He didn’t know this girl. At all. Like no. Then he’s just like “oh I like her I’ll fuck her.” That is SO inappropriate since he took her CAREER away. He does not get to dictate what she gets to know and doesn’t. If he is going to try to hook up with her he needs to tell her that he burned down her house and gave her those major burns she is so insecure about. Problem B: before I knew that this guy had a big fucked up head I felt sorry for him. The girl he likes, and she only wants to see him once a year? That’s a no go. Break up. Find another dude. Also, ironic sentence from Colleen Hoover: I don’t like INSTA LOVE. Hmmm…..That was my least favorite Colleen Hoover sentence of all time. And she did NOT need to add that…plot twist at the end. Save those for the half-assed thrillers PLEASE. ok I’m done sitting on my ass writing hate that makes me sound like a horrible person but COME ON.
