The drawings were really good and, being a fan of Rick & Morty, I appreciate the effort to expand the universe. However, I was not impressed with the writing. There was some good dialogue (like on about washing sheets from Rick, it was ricktastic!). But the main character, Krombopulos Michael, had no character arc, no change, there was no plot, no twists, no surprised. It was just one extended joke from beginning to the end. While Rick & Morty may seem like "all about jokes" it is so much than that. Each ep (at least season 1&2) is written with attentiveness, precision and good TV writing. It does break the rules and go meta, it does have a lot of jokes, but it also follows great writing rules. Thus the 3 stars are just for the images and the effort.
