Through the path to immortality, one finds its morality. Life and death and godhood have a strong presence in this world, and they come colliding together into a beautiful resolution of hearts. Finding your place requires searching and sacrifices, but none of that compares to the resolve from rising from your grief and gaining the strength to be yourself. I laughed, cried, highlighted the heck out of these pages as the words were seared into my heart.

i have such a love for this series and this book made it even better. genuinely fills the void that SJM leaves, but with its own unique storyline. the characters are so well written and complex and i have loved getting to see the character and world development throughout this series

I loved this conclusion to Miche and Asar’s story. I really appreciated that it wasn’t a neat Disney ending, but an imperfect one that reflected their true selves and the world they were living in. The way the author allows the FMCs in her books to own their power and claim their place as equals to the MMCs is one of my favorite parts of her storytelling. I can’t wait to read the next duology in this world!
