OK, rating this book is tricky as it is miles better than the other two in the series. There is character growth, depth, world building. I lovey the addition of faerie curses. The faerie world was more at the forefront which is what makes this book shine, human world and absent mother figure are lost in this which improved the story so much. There is also an undercurrent of what it is to be human, what it is to belong. This surprised me as the other two books were pretty poor.
