One of the most poorly structured and written books I've ever read. At one point, we're reading dialogue of some villagers being verbally narrated by the monster being verbally narrated by Frankenstein being transcribed by some other guy being read by his sister in a letter. 

Every character has exactly the same voice, regardless of if they are speaking directly to another character, writing a letter, transcribing someone else speaking etc. 

I got to page 60 and had to start skimming through. I couldn't invest more time and energy into it than that.
