Honestly, a mystery story (cozy or otherwise) set on a space station is total catnip for me. There was never a world in which I was going to resist this book, especially by an author I already know I like.

To be honest, the narrative style did feel a bit distancing at first, but once I was immersed in it I literally could not put this down, not even to pet the cat or get enough sleep for work the next day.

I'm not sure what to say. I think a novella might be too short for a second-chance romance. There are some CLUNKY sentences in here that made me wince - including parenthesis in the middle of dialogue?! I'm going to remember "womb-deep" as a way to not describe a feeling for a long time. The mystery felt like there wasn't enough substantial clues to figure out. And lastly, I don't understand how this is "cozy" outside of the fact that people constantly ate food in it.
