I love jonathan kellerman's alex delaware novels, and warning signs is book # 10 in a series that reminds me of that. no, i have not read the previous nine books, though i think i read one somewhere, sometime, but i can't remember what. Here we have a main character who is a psychologist and he has a homicide detective friend, and they solve a mystery. only, in this one, the main character is still a practicing psychologist and i've always thought that alex was a bit @ssholey, while I pretty much liked this guy. it was an interesting story, about people, kids, who feel slighted by the system and have become terrorists. it was easily understandable without having read the rest of the series, but i think i'd enjoy starting from the beginning.

Ramp and Paul are involved in the "wouldn't it be cool" games. Are their games just that....games, or is there more to it? And is it possible that the string of murders and events are all because of the "Wouldn't it be cool" games?

This was my first read by Stephen White and I found myself enjoying the book. I enjoyed Sam and Alan's friendship and how they worked with each other. Great book.

The main character is so condensed if in this one. Heavy mediocre white man energy.
