I really liked this book and although it is quite thick i finished it quickly. I also found it easy to relate to as I am in the teaching profession.

Is the last book of [a:Melissa Nathan|117879|Melissa Nathan|https://d.gr-assets.com/authors/1266558920p2/117879.jpg] and perhaps her best. I usually do not like this type of books, I try to avoid them and only rad them when I want to have fun reading and not think much. I already read 3 of her other books. [b:The Waitress|941852|The Waitress|Melissa Nathan|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1327962996s/941852.jpg|2416540], [b:The Nanny|207694|The Nanny|Melissa Nathan|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1389595555s/207694.jpg|201020] and [b:Persuading Annie|826458|Persuading Annie|Melissa Nathan|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1442541318s/826458.jpg|926792]. I like all of them they are pretty well written and the stories are funny. Yes there is romance and you do know how will end... But the develop of the story is well done and makes you want to read all in one seat. Despite the crazy number of pages. There is a common them in her books, if they are kids involve they are the ones that make the main protagonist to open their eyes, All these women are hard workers and always try to understand what are their feelings.... Also in most of the cases they love someone from the past and try to see if they should move on or persuade this relationship.
These book is very interesting because is a good reflexion about women and the dilemma that is to have a successful career or a family. Is a nice read that is not as light as it seems but is good. I did not like the closure of the book But enjoy most of it

This book is pretty awful. The main character is stupid and annoying, the various love interests are stupid and annoying. The writing is sloppy and there's about 9 pages of 'tell' to 1 page of 'show'.

I read this with a friend as a sentimental thing because we'd read 'The Nanny' years ago while we were in school, and were hoping this one would be fun. But having read this, I'm now afraid that The Nanny was also pretty crappy and I'm just fond of it because I've forgotten what the writing is like :(
