This was a book with a lot of layers and definitely worth revisiting. Conceptually this was really interesting and tracks with what I've read from this author previously, though the pacing and story is totally different. It had some nice twists and turns. It's a bit slow to start and then it rapidly escalates, so the pages really go once you pass the first part.

I don’t have words for this. Honestly? Fuck this book. I thought it would get better. But it just kept getting worse and worse.

I loved Wilder Nat and Harper.
At 80% thru i was really mad about the direction shift, but i pushed through and its wrapped up in a neat little bow

I ship Nat/Wilder more than anything else though. The what could have been is so.. forbidden fruit
