Once again, I don't really enjoy biographies but was taken in by some positive hype. It was fine, some very incisive lines but also mostly just extreme introspection of the not-very-interesting fashion (totally valid for MJF, maybe useful for people in similar situations, draggy for me)

Jong-Fast contends with illness as multiple mutations of it consume her life: her mother's dementia, her husband's cancer, and her own depression and alcoholism. She doesn't emerge out of it as the hero of her own story, and she is honest about coming out of it broken and uncertain, yet somehow still here.

Oof I related to this on multiple levels. It was both comforting and triggering. Molly Jong-Fast is a great writer.
