This book was deeply relatable in terms of watching family members leave while still physically here; however their mother daughter dynamic was still very unique to them and fascinating to listen to. Will be trying to make my mother listen asap!

Man, I felt this book! It took a minute to get used to the author's narration in audio, but once I did, the whole thing felt even more intimate. While I had no idea who her famous mother was, I could relate to so many parts of what she was writing about. For better or worse, there is something to be said about the universality (and yet very specific perspectives) of experience.
