I never “rate” memoirs. This is a great read, although heartbreaking. 

I listened to this on audiobook and the author’s vocal fry made me almost not finished- 7+ hours of it made me go batty.

This book is A LOT, but so is her mother.  My own wife's cancer and my mother in law's death gave me many similar feelings.
