Audiobook Review. Dual narration. Mason Lloyd is great as always, and I really enjoyed Jillian Macie.

Eleven hour audiobook and I devoured it in less than two days. This is a great example of all the things Ruby Dixon does best - it's funny and charming and a little goofy while still being very steamy. The conflict comes from the two main characters building their relationship, rather than outside forces pushing them around, and I loved all the ridiculous fanficcy tropes and memorable side-characters, plus the weaving in of characters from other books. And I desperately need a book about Bethiah the bounty hunter.

Nassakth has a problem. He's fallen for his adorable human neighbor, and while he's done all the obvious things to try and make his intentions clear - marking her door, leaving her fresh kills, etc - she seems dead-set on both ignoring him and doing increasingly stupid things to find herself a different mate. What's a love-sick Praxiian to do?! Well, obviously he has to pay the bounty hunter she's already paid to find her a husband, to pick HIM to be that husband.

Thus begins one of the most amazing rides of the Risdaverse - nay, the greater Ice Planet Barbarians Epic Universe - to date. I won't spoil a single thing for you, just know that I've read every single IPB book up to this point and only 2 before qualified for purchase, and When She Purrs makes three. It is my cat-nip. I need it in my life forever.

Almost as much as I need a Bethiah book Ruby please!!! Sapphic Messakah Bounty Hunter Adventures in Space!!
