the pacing on this was wayyyyy way off. it was like watching the extended edition of the third LOTR movie where there’s like 6 times you think it’s the end but then for some reason it’s not.

Think I have to give this a 2.5 ⭐️? Enjoyed the first half which was fun and cute and flirty but the second half was such a let down!

I really wanted to like this. It started out really good, lots of promise. It's about a good girl, Winnie, who wants to get back into the film industry after her divorce, and a player and former boy band member, Kallum, who has bedded more bridesmaids than he can count. They both get offered a role in an adult film, and he ends up giving her sex lessons since she's so good that she doesn't even know what an orgasm feels like.. Every moment inside Winnie's head is agony. She's been raised with a heavy "Christian" background by her parents who shame her for living a life that is less than what they deem as "pure." Gag. FMC is weak and obnoxious. MMC is good in the spicy scenes, but his personality is also obnoxious.

Tropes: fake dating, opposites attract, second chance, slow burn, chronic illness rep, sex lessons. If you like that and don't mind all the purity talk, you might like this one.

Feels like this writing duo hit their stride with this book, I loved the story and the smut fit the characters and their individual motivations. Bravo!
