Ok but did one author write the first half and the other write the second? Because this was like two totally different books in one and it gave me whiplash.

I literally never write reviews (seriously look at my history - nada) but this felt deserving. They hit me with my least favorite trope in the middle of the book, the kind of trope that makes me avoid a book if I know about it or DNF it I don't. But this book was SO GOOD I had to keep reading and I still absolutely loved it. A testament to the authors for sure.

Also I want a maple bacon pear pizza ASAP. And a book for Prince Sad Boy Isaac.

I think this was spicier than the first Christmas Notch book, or at least from my memory. A fun, quick and easy read. Really enjoyed it - made for a perfect day of reading. It mainly missed out on the 5 stars cos of a tiny section on grief which missed the mark for me as a bereaved person.
