I really enjoyed the first book in this series and was so keen to jump into this story.
There was a danger that Winnie couldve come across as a bit puritanical from her upbringing, but I love how the authors took her in the other direction to embrace her change in life and made it into something that was a stepping stone to success.
Kallum was just the perfect MMC, I loved how sweet he was and how he wore his heart of his sleeve.
It was great to see the cast of characters from the first book back and there were lots of funny moments to lighten some more serious aspects of the storyline.
The last of INK needs his story told, we havent seen much of him so far, but Sunny has been a likable character so looking forward to their story.
I loved Uncle RayRay and Steph in the first book and glad their storyline continued in this one. I hope they get a novella of their own

I absolutely loved [b:A Merry Little Meet Cute|60121411|A Merry Little Meet Cute|Julie Murphy|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1648673542l/60121411._SY75_.jpg|94807849] last year and I wasn't sure it could be topped. This wasn't as good but it was a lovely addition to the series.
I may have been a tad too long though and correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think Kallum ever learns about Winnie's narcolepsy which just felt very odd to me. I kept waiting for the conversation and it never happened.
Also, I say this a lot. I'm over the surprise pregnancy trope. I need trope warnings at the beginning of my romance books I think. :D
I liked the characters, and I teared up at one very good character moment.

Don’t let the cartoon cover fool you, very spicy. Not for everyone; and that’s fine. Probably read the series in order context for best experience. Really good story, starts hot and heavy, with one liners that are goofy and made me LOL. And then turns surprisingly serious in the back 1/3 but still with the promised Romance HAE, but in a realistic grounded way. Looking forward to the next installments.
