Learned this book from the 2022 fave reads of the one and only ✨uncarley✨ and she damn well knows real taste!
The story explores the speaker (was it Eugenia? Apologies, I am bad with remembering not-so-memorable characters) and her endeavor in ice skating together with the sacrifices she made and the prices she (was opted/forced) paid for the dream. However, upon her journey, the book narrows into a explicit illustration of self-discovery in the most promising way.
Readers simply cannot get enough of its rich creativity in narrating important emotions and even simple observations of the speaker. Although it was challenging to clasp connection because of its distinct literary difficulty, this book truly defined the crucial need of upholding complexity and down-to-earth captures.

Siento que fue como la historia extendida de una canción. Me gustó más la poesía al rededor de toda la historia y que la historia en sí. Los personajes eran más fuertes que la historia. Me gustó conocer la mente de Patti Smith.
