A bunch of parents have come to Parents Weekend at a college, but when they get there they discover that their children are missing and a fellow classmate was recently found dead.  The parents and detectives try to figure out what happened and where the kids are.

I thought that this was good thriller/mystery.  I listened to the audiobook and it was enjoyable.  I didn't guess the ending, which is always good.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 4.5 Stars – A Fast-Paced Thriller with Heart and Twists You Won’t See Coming

Parent’s Weekend by Alex Finlay delivers everything you want in a tightly-wound thriller: compelling characters, unexpected reveals, and a plot that never lets up. What starts as a tragic campus event quickly unravels into something much more complex, drawing in multiple characters with secrets, regrets, and personal stakes.

The story is told through multiple perspectives, which Finlay does masterfully. Each voice feels distinct and adds depth to the mystery. The emotional pull of the story is just as strong as the suspense—especially the way it explores family dynamics, guilt, and how far people will go to protect the ones they love.

There were some twists I didn’t see coming, and just when I thought I had it all figured out, the story shifted again. It kept me turning the pages late into the night. My only reason for docking half a star is that a couple of plot points wrapped up a bit quickly for my taste—but overall, it didn’t take away from how much I enjoyed the ride.

If you’re a fan of smart thrillers with emotional weight and jaw-dropping moments, Parent’s Weekend is absolutely worth your time.
