A page-turner of a popcorn thriller. I blew through this. I loved Annie and how she assisted Keller with the investigation. I enjoyed reading about the different families and hearing their secrets get revealed. The ending was unexpected and felt like it wrapped up the story nicely.

This was a short audiobook but there was A LOT packed into it…to the point that it was confusing keeping track of all of the characters and some of the plot lines weren’t very believable to me. I struggle with books where none of the characters are likable, and it was hard for me to find someone to root for. I do think that if you’re looking for a shorter, fast-paced thriller then you could enjoy this story.
