I liked Gage but I found the whole situation with Jake extremely frustrating. I will definitely read any further books in this series because I think this is a case of not connecting to these specific characters / this specific relationship but it is disappointing because I really enjoyed the first two books.

Love this series!

Really enjoyed reading Gage and Jake’s story. The Willow Lake Supernatural series is full of humor, lovable characters, and action.

This one didn't work for me. The MCs spent way too long in denial, and then fell into bed and life-long magical bonds without much of a conversation. Jake was a swooning damsel in distress for large portions of the book and Gage is somehow way more boring than he was in the last book, I think because he didn't interact with his team as much. I also would have liked to see more work done on the series plot. So far the crack team of investigators hasn't done much on-page investigating.
