I didn't get very far into this book.

It's a mature read.

There was cursing, most which seemed uncessary, to me, added just because, well, how else can you explain how horrible she really felt? Or how annoying it was? Or how much she really hates him?

The story starts when Bryn wakes up after sleeping for a few weeks. And, the next few chapters are all about her boyfriend. How he left her. How she hates him but as soon as he comes near she wants to be together again.

Her friend convinces her to go to a party at a friend's house, where her (ex?) boyfriend comes up to her, and she runs through the house to avoid him, and through bedrooms with couples in various stages of undressing, until he gets her in a closet, and they kiss and start to do more even, but then someone else opens the door, and she runs away and hates herself.

That's about as far as I got.

Also, at some point we're introduced to another character's POV. Also first person. And there's no way of realizing this since it's not mentioned anywhere that the current chapter, which reads just like the last, has a different character narrating it than the chapters before. (Other than the fact that it doesn't make sense.)

Wasn't impressed by what I read, however. And, no, seeing that I didn't even get halfway through the first book, and I found this book for free online, I won't be recommending this to anyone else.

This was harsh, brutal and absolutely beautiful. The sort of story that draws you in from the very first page and keeps you reading until the very last. Highly recommended.

Amazing series!

You need to read them all one right after another. Its honestly one book. It is insane, and will anger you at points. But overall the story was deep and loved how all over the place it was.
