my my my. firstly, this is a debut novel. let than sink in. it doesn’t feel good to say that i enjoyed this book cuz of how horrible the subject matter is. but i am truly in awe in the way this book is written. i was just baffled throughout reading this book and after i read it and still am. this is something that i believe everyone should read it is just that profound. instant classic for me.

5/5 stars. I truly had to take a step back & sleep on this book before rating it. I would like to preface this by saying that I didn’t enjoy this book, but it was extremely well written. So well done that I feel such intense & volatile emotions toward every character. I am still not 100% sure how the author wanted us to feel, but I know I feel a lot. I don’t recommend anyone read this, and I never will. Deals with some very disgusting & disturbing things.
