This book is a feast for the brain. Each sentence should be read a few times, each sentence savoured as it is so well written. Such excellent use of the English language. A gentle, witty, character driven tale about a young man in a rural Irish town and the lessons he takes from the coming of electricity, both the development and return of love, and the weather.
