This was an impulse buy at a comic shop and I'm totally glad I got it because it was ADORABLE. It's basically a series of genre AUs of a newlywed gay couple in comic format. aka, the kind of thing I eat with a spoon. Loved it, definitely checking out the series it was based on soon.

Husbands is a comic book companion to Jane Espensen and Brad Bell’s Youtube series of the same name. The book transports the three main characters (newlyweds Brady and Cheeks and the tipsy best friend Haley) into a handful of alternate universes, including a medieval story, a space adventure, a Sherlock Holmes style mystery and more. Great fun.

I hadn't heard about Husbands the series but I saw this at the library. It's a great gay love story told in various genres: fairy tale, detective, super hero, spy, etc. I'm glad that gay kids have something like this. I wish I had it when I was a kid.

I loved this. It made me really want to watch the web series. I loved how each story had the characters facing a relationship issue really in a different way. All the scenarios were so fantastic too. Loved the style changes in each one. This was light and enjoyable.

I'm sure to start reading it again before I go to bed. Every time I went back to it, I started from the beginning; so, I've read the first few chapters more than once. And I want to do it all over again.

A series of official alternate universe stories tied to the web series Husbands. Unfortunately, it doesn't really work as a stand alone, but it's fun for existing fans.

This book is amazing. It's witty, it's thrilling, it's romantic, and it doesn't take itself too seriously. There are about six different art styles, and they are all amazing. The stories fall into an overarching plot and I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT.

A friend recommended I watch Husbands: The Series, which I did, and I loved. While perusing Wikipedia I found out about the comic, and immediately requested it from the library. It's so clever! I love genre-bending things, and queer things, and this does both -- and the art is outstanding.
