This was really good. Seeing Trent and Amari get closure on their issues with their moms was good. I wanted to yank Astrid by her hair and fling her. She got on my nerves just as much as she had in the last book.
Can't wait to read the next one!

This was sweet and I love the new additions to the town.

A lot going on

There are times when it feels like there are too many characters. I wish we had gotten more from the pov of the women. Bobby was the least interesting character for me but we kept coming back to him.

There is a lot of story packed into a small amount of time which seems to flow better in her historical romances, which I find interesting.

The Blessings series continues to be a total delight - this has more secrets from the past and ructions in the present. I can just gobble these up - sit down relax, read one and go straight on to the next one!

Always a good time being in Henry Adams. And it was nice to get to know some new characters, as well as get a better look at ones from previous books (like Kiki, Bobby, Rita Lynn).

Amari's storyline was sad, but I am glad he got his closure, once and for all. But there was hope in Trent's storyline, and I hope what was introduced continues on in the rest of the series.

Astrid was, of course, quite the pain in the ass. But I'm glad she's getting hers. Good riddance.

And finally, Bernadine and Mal taking some much needed time off. Looking forward to book 7!
