This was a quick and easy read. I was expecting another twist in the story..but maybe there was something lost in translation. I'm pretty horrible at guessing endings or what's going to happen next in a story. What you think will happen, does happen. It's interesting to read why. I enjoyed this book even though the ending was predictable.

El protagonista de esta historia despierta para encontrar en casa a su madre asesinada. No recuerda nada de las últimas 24 horas debido a que ha interrumpido su fuerte medicación contra la epilepsia, lo que le ha llevado al colapso. Con una narrativa que atrapa y que puede resultar incluso claustrofóbica, el protagonista se esforzará por intentar recuperar sus recuerdos del día anterior, con tal de descubrir qué ha pasado con su madre.
Pero la historia no queda anclada en ese suceso. Alternando el presente con recuerdos del pasado y fragmentos de un diario, se irán abriendo nuevas incógnitas que darán lugar a múltiples giros en el argumento, así como nuevos retos para nuestro protagonista.
Es una buena historia, llena de tensión e incógnitas, que se va tornando cada vez más oscura. Me ha faltado un poquito más, pero en líneas generales es un buen libro que te atrapa gracias a las múltiples incógnitas, que te hace avanzar por el deseo de conocer todas las respuestas.

this was a pretty average book. it didn‘t feel too much like a thriller which i kind of disliked, but i wanted to know what happened to get the protagonist into this situation. i started to dislike the protagonist after around half the book:/

The book is very slow-paced. It's a why-dun-it mystery/thriller book. We're told the culprit at the beginning of the story, but the book goes into detail about why the culprit committed the crime. I felt bored until halfway through the book, and it's a bit repetitive. I could already tell the reason why the culprit killed someone after I read halfwa through the book too. But I wanted to keep going to find out what happened to the other characters. The last half of the book is pretty decent, although the twist isn't really surprising either.
He sido incapaz de acabarlo. Lo siento, pero lo abandono al 22%. Se me ha hecho infumable. La trama tiene potencial, pero el estilo narrativo es tremendamente pesado. Demasiado. Me da rabia, pero es lo que hay. He leído un par de reseñas, y sinceramente, más o menos me esperaba ese final (he de decir que es bueno). Me hubiera gustado leerlo si estuviera escrito de otra manera...
