Thank you to NetGalley, Olivia Worely and St Martin’s Press for the free ebook in exchange for an honest review.

This was such an intense, thrilling and twisty read! I didn’t know what I was getting myself into with this, and I’m so glad that I didn’t. I think it made it all the more mysterious and thrilling. I love a lock room, murder game in any form!

Book : People To Follow
Author : Olivia Worley
Pub Date : 31 Oct 2023

I had so much fun reading this book. It is a young adult thriller who-done-it suspense. It was fun to try and figure out what was going to happen next. When you think you know—no you don’t! It was amazing! I rated this 4.5 stars. Can we also admire the cover of this book!? I mean, who doesn’t love a unicorn float!?

This book is a dual POV so there are lots of characters to get to know which you do along the way. In personally enjoy books written this way! This absolutely gave me reality show vibes and I was living for it all the way to the end. I could pick a few characters out that I felt I could related to which was great for me!!! I love being able to related to the characters of the books I’m reading.

I can’t wait to see what else Olivia comes up with next!!!! If you want to fun fast paced YA thriller this book should be your go-to!!! Snag a copy because in see this being a much talked about book of 2023.

A huge thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for allowing me to provide my honest feedback of 'People To Follow’.

I needed something quick and easy after reading some heavier books and this one did the trick! It was definitely a cheesy who-dun-it, but the ending wasn’t crazy predictable, which I appreciated! The author really heavily leaned into Gen Z slang and language made popular by social media. This typically gets on my nerves, but I did feel like this was pretty accurate in the way that Gen Z speaks. It didn’t feel like older people trying to imitate popular slang, but you could tell Worley actually knew how these words were being used. Still, while it was accurate for right now, I don’t think it will age well. In a few years, this type of terminology is going to be deemed as irrelevant and that makes it hard for books like this to have a lasting impact. If you need an easy, silly read, you might give this one a shot, but I don’t know if I would recommend it any other time lol!

This one was good young adult mystery thriller .The writing was good but I wasn’t as wowed by the story as I was hoping to be. There were many floating parts and some never fully connected to the plot.In general thrilling read and definitely check it out if you like premise!

A special thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin's Press & Wednesday Books for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
