Pure smut and not even a mildly interesting plot. I read it for ummm research purposes and because it was a quick read to help me get to my goodreads goal for the year.

A well written collection of short stories. Sadly I didn't find myself crazy about any of them. The characters are okay but I just didn't find myself caring too much about them. I will give the author serious respect for knowing how to write. I couldn't find any real errors, and it's refreshing to see a self published author with polished work. I wish I could rate this higher, but I just didn't like the stories and the characters.

The one shining star out of the five was "The Adventures of Sasquatch." That one was definitely my favorite and it was very sweet. It had the best characters and an interesting and engaging story.

On the other end of the spectrum for the non-erotic stories, I didn't care for "The Haricot Verts" at all. It was short, even for a short story, and kind of pointless. While it certainly did a fine job of expressing an awkward and tense moment between a couple, it was just so boring.

As for the three erotic stories, while all three are well written, I found all to be lacking. "Consenting Adults" was good and spicy, but the constant reminders of consent got to be too much. While I like the message I don't like feeling like I'm being beaten over the head with it.

"The Reluctant Exhibitionist" isn't really my kind of fetish, but I could see others getting into it.

"Between the Lines" is again alright. I did appreciate that it covers online relationships, something that is more pertinent to modern dating and something I personally could relate to. Despite this, I just didn't care enough about any of the characters.

I liked the preview for "Sorry's Not Enough" quite a bit, the three chapters that were included were better than all of the short stories. I think that the author should definitely keep writing and I'd be interested in reading some of her other work, this one just didn't do it for me.

Good short stories, though some felt out of place like they didn't belong in the collection.
