This book is still a little bit slow for me. But I do very much enjoy the banter between Sera and Nyktos. The draken are also a lot of fun.

Genuinely forgot just how good this entire series is. Jennifer is a masterful writer. THE SLOW BUILD UP + TENSION between Nyktos & Seraphena is entirely something else.

The world building— one of my all time favorite things about the series as a whole, is just other wordly.

AND THAT ENDING!!! Cannot wait to see how these characters intertwine with the from blood & ash characters!
