Oh, how I loved these characters!

I finished this book with watery eyes and my heart full but also heavy. Backman is an exceptional storyteller. I love this series.

Rounded down from 3.5 stars. For a series that contains characters I have grown to love so much, so many of them are mishandled by the plot with little to no redemption. I liked the series, I just don’t feel good or happy having read it.

Fredrik Backman has a way of creating such real characters with real flaws. My heart has broken over and over reading each of his books, for the tragedy that is being human....and equally, my heart has soared with the impossible joys of being human. Thank you Mr. Backman for sharing.
