I have loved all three of this trilogy and always end up so emotional. I am truly invested in these characters' lives and just love how it's written. Just as the others, it's a bunch of stories that seem unrelated and slowly begin to overlap and come together. It did not disappoint - a beautiful ending.

“This hurts too much to touch with words.”

I tried really hard to read this slowly because I didn’t want the stories and the characters to end. This book was a beautiful, tragic, and fitting way to complete the trilogy.

Even though we are warned, you cannot prepare yourself. I cried and cried. My favourite books ever yet the most heart wrenching reads.

I personally love Backman’s writing in this whole trilogy, skipping between storylines and introducing and fleshing out new and old characters all over the place.
