The book attempted to be raw and heart breaking… but what was that??

Surface layer emotions, surface layer attraction, surface layer yearning. I think the characters were interesting, but unrealistic and each character didn’t fit the theme of the book…

Also, the flower shop

I liked this book. I liked the complexity of the characters, and Colleen Hoover has you falling in love with Atlas yourself. But holy smokes, it's gut-wrenching from start to finish. Not a book to read on a relaxing vacation, but a good story.

Skimmed for the Stacks book club, didn’t feel like I needed to read it all to get the general idea, and couldn’t manage a third book about intimate partner violence that is decidedly mid, after reading the excellent Creep and Anita del Monte Laughs Last

If I can give this book a negative number I would. Why is this book in the romance section?? This book literally talks about a relationship that has domestic ab$se in it and romanticizes it, it should NOT be in the romance genre whatsoever and I’m not even gonna start talking about the writing and the fact the main character is a florist named Lilly Blossom Bloom, are we in 3rd grade?? Awful.
