A wonderful little story about a boy - Odd - who runs away from his home and encounters a Bear, Fox, and Eagle and helps them get back home. This would be a fun introduction to Norse mythology for kids.

B (age 8): ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I listened to this with my 9 year old daughter and we both enjoyed it.

A good fun little book. We listened to it with the kids. I really like Neil Gaiman's mythology-infused storytelling style.

Read with my daughter. A very easy read and a nice fable set in the world of Norse mythology. It's such a quick read that I wouldn't tell anyone not to read it. It I also wouldn't rave to everybody that they must.

That being said, it did pique my 8 year olds interest in Norse Mythology as she has mostly been exposed to only Greek Mythology

More like a 3.5, though I may change the rating to a 4 later after I’ve thought about it for a bit.
