This is one of the most unhinged novels I’ve ever had the pleasure of reading! I didn’t know going into it what it was going to be about but by the second chapter I was hooked. The narrator is extremely unreliable and actually quite possibly a lunatic. The plot is mind-boggling. The chapters are long and I hate that, but all in all, this is a fantastic read.

Caitlin Barasch’s debut novel will hook you right in as Naomi stalks Rosemary throughout New York and integrates herself in the narrative. While I would not go as far as to classify this as a thriller, the suspense that Barasch infuses in Naomi’s interactions with literally everyone in this novel will have you turning the pages frantically and hoping that she doesn’t - or maybe does - get caught.
