What can I say about this book? Lauren Oliver created a character that I couldn't help but loathe at the beginning. Sam is your cliched, popular, materialistic girl who realizes she hurts others, thinks about giving a shit about the people she hurts in her daily life and then doesn't. She is the epitome of everything I would normally hate. After the first chapter I would've stopped reading, if i weren't for previous reviews I read stating that hating the main character is something that might happen. So I kept reading.
I strongly believe YA fiction is undervalued by adults. There are plenty of amazing YA books and plenty of horrid adult books. Sometimes, I think adults forget how complex it can be to be a teenager and that is to our disadvantage. This was a complex story with an ambiguous ending (which I normally hate) that shows us just how human everyone is.
To me, the writing wasn't fantastic. This is a big thing for me, because if I had the choice between good writing/poor plot and poor writing/good plot, I would choose good writing every time (not to say that the writing in this review is any good, so please be kind to me). For some reason though, this book had me so intrigued. What I'm saying is this: for me, it had all the makings of a book I should've hated but didn't. So, if your in the mood for a good, quick read, this book is definitely worth a shot.

Ciekawa książka, dająca do myślenia o przemijającym czasie i o tym, że nie mamy szansy na zmienienie przeszłości a także, że czasami jesteśmy naprawdę ślepi i dużo szczegółów nam umyka gdyż żyjemy za szybko

Al principio pense que este libro seria muy repetitivo pero para nada. Recien lo termine de leer y debo decir que aun estoy en shock por el, pero sobre todo el libro me ha encantado sin duda una historia que te deja muchas cosas para pensar y reflexionar.
Ligera y entretenida, un poco hilarante pero la manera en como Lauren manejo a la prota y su crecimiento me encanto. Cada repeticion fue distinta, la persona que empezo a enamorarse y esas pequeñas partes donde comienza a entender a Linsey y Juliet.
La ultima repeticion es cuando Sam se da cuenta de su mision y la acepta, no hay mas y terminas con sentimientos encontrados. Fue lindo sin mas, una lectura para animarte pero tambien para hacer soltar una lagrimita.

I love the idea, the down to earth vibe and the harsh reality of life that Lauren Oliver slaps us with. Definitely a very entertaining read
