Sabrina has had a crush on Evan, her bothers best friend, forever. He disappeared from their lives when he joined the military but she never forgot him. Now Evan owns one of the hottest tech companies, vowing to make the lives of the men and women in the military safer, something he couldn't do before but now he won't let anything or any one person get in his way. Sabrina has no idea Evan owns the company where she is interviewing. She is nervous enough as it is and when a man rudely runs into her right before her interview she feels that this is doomed from the beginning. On her way out she sees Evan, and is shocked and surprised when ha asks her to get some coffee. I don't want to give too much away, but things heat up from here both personally an business wise. I love the intrigue, back stories and the passion between Sabrina and Evan that they can't resist. SO good!

What happens?
Sabrina is the goofy genius coder that interviews at the company Cooper owns but fluffs up the interview, while trying to leave the building she is knocked over and helped up by Cooper who sees she is his old friend's younger sister. Unable to leave her alone he hires her anyway and begins a relationship with her despite him not wanting to get involved with an employee.
Sabrina wants to get to the bottom of why her brother died and maybe help prevent more people dying of friendly fire. She unfortunately gets tangled into the web of lies Cooper and into an old grudge match and gets kidnapped in order to get Cooper to do what this person wants.
Final thoughts
I gave this a 3 star because I don't see this as a 4 star book.
The pregnancy is very very very much at the end of the book and to me just seemed like a 'oh lets put some suspense on' it doesn't add or detract its just there.
Shes a super duper coder. As an IT professional, it doesn't work like that but what ever.
Her motivation of finding out the truth about Ray her brother doesn't really materialise. It fizzles out and you never get the closure you want.
Aside from the above I did actually enjoy the romance. I think it could have been better but the sex scenes kind of save it.
Would I read again?: Maybe
Would I read this author again?: Yes
Would I continue on with the series?: N/A
