I read this after watching the tv series and was pleasantly surprised to find that there were enough details different in each that I still was surprised a few times. This was good, interesting premise and a fun read.

Good. Wish there was a sequel.......Or is there... I forgot.............But It is really good!

2.5 stars - ngl i only read this because i binge watched the tv show and the show was definitely better. still a quick and fun read tho

I tried to get into this, I did. But nothing in it keeps my attention. The few chapters I've read are boring and I'm so disappointed. The plot seemed so promising but to me all the characters feel lacking and it hasn't kept my interest. I've given it two stars for now but I may well attempt it again another time.

Reading the book's summary, Reading a summary with a game reminds me of the Hunger Games, *coughs* [b: Endgame: The Calling|20510241|The Calling (Endgame, #1)|James Frey|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1411272821s/20510241.jpg|35441994] or [b: Nerve|13088498|Nerve|Jeanne Ryan|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1338287597s/13088498.jpg|18259748] *coughs* but it turns out that they are NOT LIKE THE [b: The Hunger Games|11742691|The Hunger Games Official Illustrated Movie Companion|Kate Egan|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1363678804s/11742691.jpg|16692130] or maybe they have something in common, they are games or maybe someone is hungry for food... or to kill to survive. (Haven't read Nerve though, but I won't expect it have something in common with The Hunger Games)

Anyways, Panic is a college life-risking game where you'll win some money. One thing I hated here that somehow the game is somehow getting a bit easier as the game nears its end and
Spoiler the individual challenge are not fair in difficulty some are easy sleeping with a corpse or playing Russian Roulette and staying near the tigers for 10 seconds. At least sleeping even with a day or more with corpses won't risk your life.

I really loved the plot of this book - it was something that when written in one sentence seemed as though it wouldn't be realistic and would be stupid and idiotic, but actually it was so believable. It was as though Panic was the only thing these kids had and they weren't fighting for money but a way out, a better life and future. The thing that I didn't like, was how I didn't fall in love with the characters, in all honesty - I couldn't care less what happens to them and I hate when that happens. But the plot was so good that I couldn't put it down.

Oh I liked this one! I could picture Panic, and some of the milder dares, and it wasn't too much of a stretch to think about what would happen if things escalated ...

I love Lauren Oliver, I forgot how much because I prefer horror reads these days so her name was sort of never on the lists I am looking at(shame on me), but I just watched the show Panic on Prime and loved it so here we are.
This was good but the tv series is sooooooo much better and it is probably because Oliver herself developed it for TV. It follows a game played by the graduating high school seniors, it is dangerous but there is a big pay off. There is back stabbing, sabotage and some light kidnapping.
But y'all watch the show it's has such a great plot!
