Jaxon: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was a cute single dad/ nanny romance but I just didn’t like Jaxon, he was too much of an arrogant douchebag. I didn’t understand why Kali would want to be with him. I liked her and her connection with Daniel. This story unfortunately just didn’t resonate with me because of Jaxon.

Jake: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was a cute single dad/ surprise pregnancy romance. I liked the story but it was just a bit rushed. Jake and Fiona had good chemistry and I would have loved to have more interaction between them. But I did enjoy the story and I really liked the characters.

Levi: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was a great single dad romance. It was my favorite story so far in this series. Levi was such a great guy and I loved how he was committed to winning Aria over. Aria was a little timid and I really loved that. This was a really great story.

Brock: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was a cute single dad romance. I liked the chemistry between Brock and Olive, they were so good together. The storyline was simple but entertaining and it brought out the steam which I liked. I enjoyed reading this story.

Anton: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was a sweet and steamy single dad/ nanny romance. I liked the chemistry between Anton and Eden. The storyline was entertaining and the story had a great pace. It didn’t have a whole lot of drama but a lot of steam. I really liked it.

Xavier: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was a cute instalove single dad romance. I liked the storyline and the characters but I would have liked to see more interaction between Xavier and Angela, because their romance seemed a bit rushed. But they did have nice chemistry and I liked that.

Six stories featuring single dads.
POV- 1st person dual
Genre- Contemporary Romance
Sub Genre- Single Dad Romance
Safety- No Cheating, No S. Violence, No Cliffhanger, Guaranteed HEA (with five-year flash forward into the future).
Triggers- Explicit Erotic Content
What I thought of the collection overall- it was okay. There’s really not much to these stories. They’re not offensive or anything, but there is no character development, not much real plot, and not a lot of details about the love. And if you’re looking for realism, don’t look for it here.
Here’s the story-by-story breakdown:
1) Jaxon
MMC/FMC- Jaxon and Kali
Heat- they do the things and name the parts, using the P word.
Hook- Jaxon offers Kali (a random stranger working as a waitress) a job as a nanny.
Tropes- Caregiver (Nanny) Romance, Grumpy/Sunshine
Notes- this one was pretty decent. Steamy and stress free.
2) Jake
MMC/FMC- Jake and Fiona
Heat- they do the things a lot over a short period of time and the P word is used for the female bits while a C word is used for the male bits.
Hook- a weekend fling results in a secret pregnancy
Tropes- BBW, Surprise/Secret Pregnancy
Notes- the steam in this one was good, but her excuse for hiding from him was far fetched.
3) Levi
MMC/FMC- Levi and Aria
Heat- they named the parts but didn’t use the P word
Additional Trigger- PTSD
Hook- Levi is laid back. Aria is very uptight and she has PTSD.
Tropes- Neighbors to Lovers, Compulsive vs Impulsive, Virgin Heroine, He Falls First.
Notes- this story was way too short for the material. It didn’t do justice to the heroine’s issues and was not terribly respectful of her PTSD.
4) Brock
MMC/FMC- Brock and Olive
Heat- they do the things and a little bit of spanking is added
Hook- Olive works at the daycare that Brock brings his twins to and she’s not supposed to have casual relationships with parents of her charges.
Tropes- Caregiver Romance, Forbidden Love
Notes- this one was pretty cute. I think it was my favorite in the collection.
5) Anton
MMC/FMC- Anton and Eden
Heat- lots of dirty talk, visits to Australia, and then fade to black right before the main event.
Hook- Eden babysits for Anton’s child. Eden is a virgin.
Tropes- Age Gap, Caregiver Romance, Virgin Heroine
Notes- meh. And I don’t think they make a lot of sense as a couple, though YMMV.
6) Xavier
MMC/FMC- Xavier and Angela
Heat- Laundry Room Sex
Hook- Xavier finds Angela living in her car and asks her to stay with him.
Tropes- Billionaire Romance, Forced Proximity
Notes- this one was my least favorite. The whole “Angela is an Angel” was pretty much beaten to death. The story skipped over a couple of weeks- the weeks in which they actually were falling in love. At least it wasn’t another Caregiver Romance, I guess, but it didn’t enhance the quality of the collection.
Verdict: I normally enjoy this author’s work, but this book wasn’t up to her usual standard.
