It was really interesting to see a renters POV. It was interesting to see how they got ready, and to see how huge Prime was. I enjoyed this short story, though it's not entirely important to read. I suggest reading after Starters.

This was really surprising to me. I wasn't expecting this story, or the Old Man's presence in it. For a villain organization, they're not very well informed. Even now we can look up lists of city employees (marshals) to double check whether more questions about their motivations should be asked. And if you're looking up info on Margaret, shouldn't it be obvious that she's currently renting?

For the fact that this was "just" a short book, it really made me want to find out who killed those girls, and why they did it as soon as I started reading that one and this barely ever happens.
I'm surprised of how much I liked it.

I like the story as its own thing but for the whole series, I felt it didn't add more to the storyline as a whole. With that said and that being my only flaw other than it was kind of slow for me personally, I did enjoy this mini storyline and if I say too much about it I might be spoiling something so I like seeing this world from another point of view was cool and everything for me with the main book it a younger person and with this one it an elder. I'll hopefully get to the next two short stories in this series soon

See the Starter's world through the eyes of an Ender Marshal who is trying to solve the murder of many young and beautiful teen girls. When his search leads him to Prime Destinations, things may be more complicated than he anticipated.

This second short from Starters series, is an interesting look at the world from the other side. We get a peek into what it's like to be an Elder who surprisingly sympathizes with the Starters who have no where else to go. It's interesting to watch as this Ender goes head to head with the old man, and he scrambles to learn the truth about the dead Starters. And ultimately tries to solve the murder of his granddaughter. I enjoyed another visit to this world and I am looking forward to Enders.
