Well that was fast. This took me less than 24 hours to finish. It was snappy and fast-paced, and only a little over-the-top. Dresden still kind of annoys me as a character, but I like the cynicism and narration. It's right at that line between clever banter and cartoonish.

It's nice to see a general story arc being framed, but I like that these books are kind of one and done...I'm not going to worry a lot about going out and getting the third book yet. I'll grab it when I see it and enjoy it when I get to it.

I enjoyed this book, I didn't like it as much as the first one though. I felt it was very slow at points and at times just dragged on. That being said this is still one of my favorite series and I can't wait to continue on with this series.

Probably should be a 3 or a 3.5 but I'm still loving the narration. Story was interesting too.
