I got bored and just didn’t care what happened. This book in some ways felt like a copy cat of Lola and the Millionares and that annoyed me. The fmc was kind of boring and as I said before, I just didn’t care what happened to her or anyone else. This sat on my kindle for months waiting for me to finish it before I just decided it wasn’t worth my time.

This book is such a nice read. The relationship between Nicky and the pack is so comforting and filled with so much love. I love thé inclusion aspects of this book as well. I fell in love with Nicky and wanted to see everything happen for her. This is a good read for someone who wants a contemporary romance to cuddle up with and feel good about. Highly recommend giving this one a read.

absolutely incredible!

This story was so good! It was soft and sweet with that perfect touch of both spice and suspense!

I love Nicky’s character and can absolutely relate to her relationship traumas (obv minus the ABO aspects). She was soft and sweet but also had a stubborn streak that made her seem so real. Like someone I’d befriend in town.

And the pack! They all have such well defined and unique personalities! I adore the different aspects of both gender and designation within their pack. I also really like that, despite this being Nicky’s story, the pack still revolves around their Omega while balancing the relationships with each other. There was so much feeling with each of them!

I look forward to reading part two and seeing what happens next!

What a book! Just the omegaverse I needed! Billie swoops in and crowds Nicky with everything she has. Nicky is instantly attracted to Billie and falls into the world of Billie and her pack. I absolutely loved this book because it made me crave for all the spice but also the loving and adoring pack members who will have deep cuddle piles every night. There is spiciness in every new day that takes place in this book. There are twist and turns but that made me cling to the book even more! I was ready to dive into part 2 only to realize it isn’t out yet! I cannot wait for part 2 and based on the teaser at the end of part one, I know it is going to be another book I will not be able to put down!

Nicky and the Night Owls follows night librarian, Nicky. As a beta she has accepted her minimal dating life and embraces life as it us. Yet, an unlikely meeting comes to pass and we see Nicky embraced by a pack who have all the love to share. Toss in some political intrigue and angry exes and you get a wonderful Omegaverse story that makes you feel all the warm and fuzzies.

"God. That smile was dangerous. I was not remotely equipped to be around this level of beautiful."

This medium burn “why choose” romance falls within the Omegaverse, which means the designations of Alpha, Betas, and Omegas and all the entails. I appreciated that these designations were not the only labels on the characters who were developed in strong characters with wills of their own. This is also a multiple POV book so you get to experience how each member in the pack sees and feels about this growing relationship. The spice contains f/f, f/m, f/m/f, and more, with six people in this relationship so you are going to get a nice variety of spice. There is some control in the bedroom for certain characters but consent is key.

We also have a good amount of LGBTQ+ representation in this book and the care in the writing made them sweet and enjoyable to follow. You can see the characters all working together to navigate this relationship and while there are some hang-ups they didn’t frustrate me too much. Billie was my favourite character with their enthusiasm and role as the glue of the pack which I like as a rejig of the omega pack idea.

I did find the outer plot elements (ie the ex-boyfriend and the political part) needing a bit more fleshing out as I felt it was kind of left behind at points and then thrown out again. I feel the second part may explain this more as it kind up blew up towards the end.

Overall if you’re looking for a cosy Omegaverse with plenty of spice and a sweet storyline then this is a great option. It has the vibes of Lola but time will tell (ie. Part 2) if it can fully compete. You can complete this as a standalone but there is a bonus chapter for part two that adds a cliffhanger. I do have the next book saved on my TBR for when it releases as I am curious to see how this grows!

I didn’t want it to end

This one is so good. The worst part is having to wait decor the next one. I loved Nicky and the pack. I will be counting down the days for the next book.
