it’s finally over, omg this book took forever. i enjoyed the ending and the story was fun, but uninteresting, i see how most chapters were important for the plot development but as an anxious city girl i did not enjoy the very slow pace at all, it was really hard to stay focused too. the last chapters were fun, and the book is good overall but not really for me

with a forty chapter build up, its quite a commitment but I found myself attatched to the characters and all their relationships! a lovely study of the normal small insignificant lives that make up history.
