This started out rocky, with Babs and Helena being kind of equally awful, but I actually ended up enjoying it quite a bit. I'll always prefer the original Oracle, but it was nice to see Dinah and Babs still have that close, easy friendship.

I love my girls. I’m mad that we will probably never get to see Barbara and Dinah interact outside the comics.

I liked this, and it wasn't bad, but ::shrug:: I could take it or leave it. I wouldn't go as far as to say that it was boring, but it wasn't captivating. Part of this could be that the creators were trying to recap the backstories of all three Birds of Prey, as well as establish rapport amongst the characters. Unfortunately, the backstories are pretty standard, and I didn't really *feel* the connections that were supposedly formed by team by the end. I was also not a huge fan of the art. It wasn't bad, but I didn't feel like the layouts and the art took advantage of the movement of all the fight scenes. In addition, the characters have awkward, and usually unpleasant, expressions on their faces and their figures are unappealing. Don't get me wrong. I like the fact that the characters have body types that actually look like they might be able to execute the acrobatics and fighting that they're doing, but instead of looking muscular, they characters often look...lumpy, with rumpled clothing? That, combined with the scowling faces makes them look like they're trying to do really heavy deadlifts or pass big poops.

Hahahahah! I was just mostly not into this, probably cause I didn't know the characters already, but then the final page! On the final page this person they've met is heavily forshadowed to be a bad guy! In the same scene as he is secretly taking psych meds! The psych meds are part of the foreshadowing that he's a bad guy! I love it when that happens!

This is the second comic I've read in the Rebirth series, and this is slightly better but I'm still not blown away. I'm not sure why they are adding all these ridiculous elements (not mentioning due to major spoilers). This one had more elements of a classic DC comic, and I did enjoy Black Canary and Huntress.

Honestly all I can say is that I just love Dinah Lance. Also either the artist got lazy through these few issues or they just forgot to always draw in her fishnets.

Though, I will say that I loved the interactions between Huntress, Batgirl and Dinah. They were probably some of my favorites in these issues. And I'm really excited to read the next few issues and see what our favorite girls get up to next time.

I think I might just not be a comic reader. The characters are okay, plot great, art amazing. But this took me way to long to finish. Couldn't hold my attention until the end.

Which was the saving grace for me. That ending brought this book up from a 3 stars to 4 stars for me.

As a fan of batgirl this version of her I loved, but didn't care for how her face was drawn half the time. Like the teeth were really distracting and pulled me out of the story a lot. Which is an odd problem to have with a story, but there it is.

If canary wasn't here carrying the story I probably would have dnfed for sure, but glad I didn't cause that ending was totally worth it. might even pick up the next one to see if the story keeps up this fun pacing now.
