McGuire has done it again, with chapter rich with excitement, action, and emotion, with characters that have such real complex personalities, pasts, and motives. I am forever in awe of her worldbuilding and the way she communicates her tale.
I did cry at October's loss this book, it was so personal and so heartbreaking. And I have never been more terrified for October than at the end of this book. Things are certianly not slowing down in the series, and the novella doubly proves that.
