I started this book a few months back (borrowed from a friend who said it's a cheap plane read) and it took me halfway through it to get into it. This story was all over the place. A webcam girl who is locked inside her apartment because she has a thirst for murder. Descriptions of different fetishes were interesting, but the crux of the story was her caming with a pedophile and ultimately leaving her apartment to help save a little girl. The execution and time it took to get to the climax was disjointed and took far too long. Her love story with Jeremy, the UPS delivery guy was sweet and one of the endearing parts of the book.
I found two errors within the story but the second error was so unforgiveable a lost star is because of this error. Morget me e, what the frig is that????
Overall, a book I do not recommend to others due to its disjointed nature (and the atrocious error).

Well, this book was just weird. I don't know where I originally read the synopsis for this book but it was not what I expected. The sex cam thing IMO didn't add to the plot but caused more of a distraction.

How many stars can I give this book? 5 doesn't seem like enough.
There is a good possibility that Alessandra Torre is a genius ... Perhaps an evil genius ... But brilliant, all the same.
I was very careful about avoiding spoilers for this book ... And I'm so glad that I did. This story caught me completely off guard. But what a fabulous surprise! I found myself white-knuckle gripping my ereader and holding my breath through most of the second half. So dark, so disturbing, so AMAZING! The main character is so well written ... Without excuses, apologies, remorse or explanations ... She just is who/what she is ... And it's fantastic!
This book is an absolute must read ... But be warned ... Its dark & just might mess you up!

The book sets up a classic bait and switch as far as the bad guy goes. I only wish the reveal hadn't happened so soon--it took some of the tension out of the story.
