I liked how at the start John Green used a sarcastic tone and a dark humoured tone for hazel. I feel it showed how hazel had “accepted” the fact she was going to die and that was her mindset thought that. 

And another thing I’d like to add, I may be biased as this is one of my all time favourite books but I liked how this took a deeper dive into the storyline of kid cancer. Usually most movies/books about kid cancer are stories to make you happy seeing only the child getting better but this book had the ups downs of it. And although tragic it showed how seriously it can take a turn and I believe John Green done an amazing job with making you sympathise for the character. I also loved the witty-ness of the characters especially Issac and Augustus who are a power duo by the way.
