This is the perfect summer holiday beach read. Easy going - very reminiscent of the Nicolas Sparks novels I loved as a teenager. I'd read rave reviews about Coleen Hoover so thought I'd give a book a go. It's not a literary masterpiece, but it's a typical romance novel. I found the character of Ledger - who has a stereotypical bad boy look with a good heart - dreamy, but unbelievably perfect. To be honest, both him and Kenna were too lacking in flaws. Nevertheless, an ideal story to read on the sun lounger

wow. i just finished this and wow. this book was a roller coaster. i think me not liking this book as much as other colleen hoover books probably has to do with the fact that i am not a mother. i feel like if i was a little older i would be able to relate to kenna much more. at this point in my life, her decisions just came off as selfish and not well thought out. i also felt that the ending and the romance were very rushed, and it kindof took me off-guard. this book still was good though. colleen hoover does an amazing job of getting you to really invest in the characters and the story. i loved the themes of forgiveness and just the general message of the story as well. the cover also has so much significance, which i love. in conclusion, this was a good book, just not the book for me.
Diverse cast of characters: No

I am so sorry, but that was not good. The last 30 pages were the best. But most of the book was boring, badly paced and had annoying characters with motives that I felt contradicted each other between chapters. Overall disappointed. This was not the classic CoHo romance I love. This felt off.

Loved every character, always enjoy a Colleen hoover

i’ll admit i wasn’t drawn into this book immediately, it took a few chapters to get fully invested but i absolutely loved this book …

When I say I could not put this book down, I literally could not put it down. I devoured this in one day. With all CoHo books, I feel like a piece of my heart goes with the books as I re-shelf them, but this one took everything I had left. So much sadness and beauty and forgiveness. I just. One of my favorite books probably ever. 5 stars. 10 stars. 100 stars. Just take the whole galaxy, Colleen. Perfection.

And Colleen Hoover does it again! This book had me all in the feels

well that’s the one that should’ve gone viral
