I cannot begin to put into words how this book made me feel.

I knew going into the book that it would be a hard read based on the synopsis and the hype alone. But I was wrecked even harder.

We follow Kenna Rowan, a woman who just got out of prison and is trying to make ammends with her daughter.
On the flip side we follow Ledger, a man who wanted nothing to do with her until he met her.

There is so much to unpack and I wish I had the space to dive fully into my thoughts.

This made me cry. I liked it.

this is the first coho book i have ever read, & to say the least it made me cry. i could not IMAGINE the pain of not seeing your child & losing everyone around you. the emotion was just so raw & real in this book & it made you feel so connected to the characters.
